PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver Course

WHY Scuba Dive with Enriched Air Nitrox ?

Scuba diving with enriched air, nitrox gives you more dive time underwater, shorter surface intervals, especially on repetitive scuba dives. This is a great advantage if your diving at a tropical destination.

What is Enriched Air Nitrox?

It's a blend of Nitrogen and Oxygen, where there is less Nitrogen and more oxygen, then the air we breathe now.

What You Will Learn

• Techniques for getting more dive time by using enriched air nitrox
• Enriched air scuba diving equipment considerations
• Enriched air considerations, including managing oxygen exposure, how to tell what's in your scuba tank by using analyzers and how to set your dive computer.  (Bring a nitrox compatible computer to the class and know how to use it or if you don't have a computer we will furnish one for you.)

What Do I Need to Start

• PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization)
• Minimum age: 15 years old (12-14 years with approval)
  

Cost & What's Included

• $212.00 - store scheduled date. (we offer private & private group for an additional cost for those that have schedule issues)
• Enriched Air eLearning (required to be registered with Pacific Watersports - Aloha, OR for this cost to apply)
• Dive Computer eLearning (we will furnish dive computer if you don't have one)
  
• Practical training session - classroom with hands on (approx. 1 1/2 hour)
• PADI Enriched Air Certification (with completion of program)

IMPORTANT: Must register in advance for this program as the eLearning must be completed before practical training session.

eLearning for Classroom Session:   Are you on the go, maybe planning a trip, don't want to spend your vacation time reading a book and would like to start to learn to be a Enriched Air Diver, you can now complete this on line.  After you sign-up, PADI's eLearning system presents you with interactive presentations that include videos, audio, graphics and reading. Short quizzes let you gauge your progress, review and correct anything you might happen to miss. This lets you move through the program efficiently and at your own pace. 

eLearning Participants: Prior to certification as a PADI Enriched Air Diver, you must complete a Enriched Air Quick Review, a Practical Application session, additional cost will apply if you did not register with Pacific Watersports - Aloha, Oregon as your dive center.
